Every since I attended school for esthetics I've taken a whole new love and approach to how I care for my skin! I love trying new things to improve my complexion in anyway. I just ran across some collagen essence masks not only do they soothe your skin, they also firm and moisturize. I'm definitely adding them to my regimine twice a week for all of those benefits I mentioned. I really enjoy being girlie when it comes to this type of thing. It makes me feel fancy. I love it.

African shea butter luv ;*
For the past few days, I don't know about your area, but in the bay, we have had some beautiful weather! The sun has shined brightly, while our evenings have been warm and lovely.... since i've been studying esthetics I've grown to have a love for skin and it's preservation. I'm constantly searching for the best ways to treat and preserve the skin in the best ways possible. Which brings me back to a point I cannot express enough! We must protect our skin against a number of enemies on a daily basis so why not make the first step by protection from the sun.
A form of protection I use is African Shea butter. Its proven to be far superior than cocoa butter. The fatty acid in Shea butter is crucial to moisturizing and bring your skin back. Shea butter has many uses like
its used to treat dry skin, eczema, and minor Burns
Pain relief from swelling, swelling and arthritis
Improves muscle relaxation
Its also a form of sunscreen due to it's rich content of vitamins E & F
Treats hyperpigmentation (dark spots ), stretch marks, wrinkles
And the list goes on...so remember to use some form of protection to avoid looking wretched in the long run! Protect yourselves.

Skin care tips :the basics
What's your daily skin care regimen? I use various things to keep clean, healthy, fresh and youthful skin.
Here's some tips for a glowing complexion:
1.sunscreen
sunscreen is a product I swear by 30 spf for life LOL
Sunscreen protects you from uva, uvb and uvc rays which damage and ages the skin. Helps prevent hyperpigmentation and protection from skin cancer
2. Cleanse thoroughly
Did you know that you're supposed to wash your face 4 times daily?!? I know, I know sounds pretty far fetched huh? Well according to dermalogica you first precleanse with a precleanser then wash your face with the proper cleanser based on your skin type.
3. Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate
You need to exfoliate your face twice a week. And not with that apricot scrub! I use a rice enzyme based exfoliant every couple of days for glowing, smooth skin and it also prevent dead skin cell build up
4. Water-boy I'll tell ya!
Water flushes all toxins and impurities from your body and keeps the skin hydrated.
These are the basics but I'll definitely go more in depth on the skin very soon give me a couple of weeks

spuds for skincare
skincare is a never-ending journey for most of us, there's always a new product on the scene. with me its a little different. im always on the natural skincare hype, on the search for something new. While doing research I discovered many uses for potatoes that I really think would be useful. Did you know that potatoes can help get rid of those unsightly dark circles under your eyes? Or they help lighten your pigmentation on acne scars and blemishes? Sounds weird huh? But believe it or not potatoes have a lot of vitamins that are very good for the skin. Just lightly applying sliced potato's juice to your skin can help with the problems that I named above, simple huh? Give it a try and let me know what you think I would love to hear your opinion!
