Haute summer trend 2012: tribal prints

My absolute favorite trend for summer 2012 would hands down ne tribal prints! They have always been a part of wardrobe as early as when I was given a choice to pick my own duds as a young fashionista :)  all of the patterns and colors instantly grabs the eyes and captures the instant admiration of passersby. You can find this trend in all stores this summer on shoes,bags,skirts and cute little summer dresses. I just love it. What's your favorite summer trend for 2012?

Beautiful

Today was truly beautiful the bay area really has some beautiful weather, scenery, and endless places to go....I love it here and being on the road all day made me appreciate it even more. I really love the bay. I've lived some of everywhere in Cali but I would have to say the bay area is the place to be despite all of the stigma that surrounds this beautiful land. One thing I can say is, if you can survive here, and make it, you can survive anywhere.

When this multi talented young man from San Francisco started following me I was more than honored and intrigued more than anything. Not only is he a very talented artist, he's a modern day Jack of all trades. He models, designs,and he's also a photographer and make up artist. Like I've said before, The bay area is oozing with creativity! You should check out some of his work! Here's what I decided to throw on...in oakland we have rain for the first day of summer I'm Rockin rainboots with splashes of color everywhere in the spirit of summer!

Shackled!?! Would you wear these?

These shoes are causing a whole lot of controversy in not only the fashion world, but its making international headlines everywhere.! I'm really confused as to why would this even go to prototype status. In a world where we have a black president and so many accomplishments are being made by progressive African Americans everyday, that shit like this is even allowed to be created! I originally thought this was a joke, but as I later found out they were going to be released in August but of course you know that's not happening. Adidas has really messed up now. What's your opinion? I would really like to know your thoughts on this subject

My day at the beach

On this lovely day in the bay, I decided to take a trip to the beach. I have a whole lot of things going on in my life right now so why not let go and feel the breeze....
With The serene sound of the waves crashing against the shore how could you be distracted by everyday troubles? All smiles today. My mind is clear despite it all,today I let go....

African shea butter luv ;*

For the past few days, I don't know about your area, but in the bay, we have had some beautiful weather!  The sun has shined brightly, while our evenings have been warm and lovely.... since i've been studying esthetics I've grown to have a love for skin and it's preservation. I'm constantly searching for the best ways to treat and preserve the skin in the best ways possible. Which brings me back to a point I cannot express enough! We must protect our skin against a number of enemies on a daily basis so why not make the first step by protection from the sun.
A form of protection I use is African Shea butter. Its proven to be far superior than cocoa butter. The fatty acid in Shea butter is crucial to moisturizing and bring your skin back. Shea butter has many uses like
its used to treat dry skin, eczema, and minor Burns

Pain relief from swelling, swelling and arthritis

Improves muscle relaxation

Its also a form of sunscreen due to it's rich content of vitamins E & F

Treats hyperpigmentation (dark spots ),  stretch marks, wrinkles

And the list goes on...so remember to use some form of protection to avoid looking wretched in the long run!  Protect yourselves.

Fashionista of the day : The queen B Lil kim

Outrageous, bold,brave, daring...these words describe no other than rap/hip hop royalty lil Kim. She has always inspired me to be myself through her boldly fashioned outfits she expresses the freedom of being an unique individual and not gaf about others opinions....she will always be one of the fashion icons I will refer to when I choose to pull my wild card of fashion tricks out the hat. She is absolutely Fab! I adore her! Before we had Nikki, we had Kim, thee original, Queen bee.
